Puerto Vallarta To Host International Tourism Forum

The seventh International Tourism Forum for members of the World Tourism Organization will be hosted in Puerto Vallarta. The agreement will be signed during the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) to be held in Spain on January 20-24, 2010. Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Office Chairman Gabriel Igartúa announced that Mexico’s government presented its proposal focusing primarily on our city.

The Tourism Forum for members is scheduled to take place June 14-16, of the current year. In previous edition, this forum has been headquartered in cities such as Cadiz, Rio de Janeiro, Panama, Tunisia and the Philippines, among others.

Hosting such a prestigious events gives Puerto Vallarta an International exposure.
